This ignition lock cylinder housing was a perfect fit on a 1999 Chevy S-10 pick up where thieves tried to steal the truck and ended up breaking the plastic gear inside of the ignition lock cylinder housing. I had to look up a video on removing the steering wheel in order to get to the ignition Lock cylinder housing, but the paper instructions that came with the part were easy to follow and helpful for removing the old cylinder lock housing and installing the new one, as well as training the passlock system to accept the new sensor. high quality part almost identical to the OEM part that I removed. Excellent value. Performs as good as the original.

Not bad does fit 99 sierras as well but you’ll need to use your own sensor and not the one provided. Easy install.

We needed this item for a standard transmission on our 2004 GMC Sierra 3500 Duramax and what we thought was the right one was actually for an automatic transmission so it was not the fault of the seller but we plan to get another one from this seller only one for a stick shift instead of an automatic transmission. We were very happy with the quality had the item been for the correct vehicle. Ignition Lock Cylinder Switch & Ignition Lock Cylinder Housing Replacement for Chevy, Cadillac, Buick, GMC. We had to replace this and still do need to replace it because our vehicle was stolen and when it was found the ignition lock cylinder was gone along with the catalytic converter and a few other things.

the directions are at best vague , the pictures are horrible , use the paper to start a firethen watch a u-tube video on the installation , also you will need a oem puller/compressor to remove thehorn disk

Installed the cylinder and key switch, worked great. They key was a little rough putting it in the switch but over a period it got easy ( just new ) love the price and quality of it
