When I saw that this set of lock washers included 2.5mm and 3mm sizes, I thought I'd give them a try. The wave and split washers that I've used in the past for electronics projects generally have been disappointing. These star washers look very capable, but not for my particular electronics application, which have Arduino s and similar boards. My concern is that the points on these washers could damage the PCB. On the other hand, I think they would be excellent for more permanent installations, perhaps mounting signs or hinges.

This review is for the AOMIKITSTU Store Lock Washers 350pcs.This is a nice kit of star lock washers. See the Amazon listing for specific sizes.There is a nice assortment of sizes that can be used for both Metric and Imperial bolts. They seem to be well made, and I immediately used several of the M5 washers for mounting a small solar panel. They locked down well, and grabbed tightly. I did think that the “blades” on the edges could have been sharper, in order to bite into the metal a little better, but these worked OK.I would recommend these for anyone that needed an assortment of external star type lock washers.
