This isn’t actually the Loctite silver grade, this is a nickel based anti-seize. It’s fine, just not silver grade.

I used this on the connections between the catalytic converters and the header pipe on my 2004 Acura TL. I bought this for its temperature rating, but instead of vaporizing this stuff stays somewhat wet, indicating it has very high temperature applications. I have driven about 90 miles but can still smell the odor. It, however, serves the purpose and I only wish there was a larger quantity of this rather than a small tube.
