Bought this for one of our mud trucks. Hank was clean and worked very well for what I needed it too size and dimensions seemed to be pretty good overall very happy with the purchase. Well done it seem very strong

To start, the workmanship is fine -- no blemishes stood out to me.There are a few design issues here, though: 1) The foam in the cell is a thin pad, about 1/2 inch thick, and it doesn't even cover the full bottom of the tank. This is simply not going to work in a track driving application. 2) Fuel return is right next to fuel pickup -- if you are using a high pressure/flow fuel pump, and the tank is low, I would be concerned that the fuel return sprays a jet of fuel AWAY from the fuel pickup. You could consider repurposing one of the two vents into a fuel return, but this may result in aeration of the fuel (because there is no straw). 3) Fuel sending unit is not capable of measuring less than 40% of the tank. It can read from about 40% to 90% -- the fuel sending unit is simply not sized properly, and it doesn't droop low enough.

I got this for my husband who is very into stuff like this. It came very well packed and secured. It is just as described in the ad to a t. All measurements and specs are correct as well. The quality is really amazing! It's definitely well made with great attention to detail he says. It's definitely durable as well because he did accidentally drop it and there was no damage whatsoever or any dents. So far it is 100% perfectly as described and does everything that it is supposed to do. He said this one is definitely a 10 out of 10! Worth every penny for sure!

I bought this as a replacement gas tank for my 1960 tractor very well built that very expensive a pretty happy
