Elastic strap does not attached to book so it slides off and the book flips open as it is too thin to stay closed with a full book of checks and a pen.

This is an adequate checkbook cover but if you are looking for a black cover, do NOT select black denim. It is a dark dark blue. I wanted a black or grey cover. Would send back but returns are UPS although it arrived via USPS. There isn't a UPS drop off near me and too costly to do a pickup for a 9.99 item. Will give to someone.

This cover is nicely made but the pen slot within the wallet is not usable!If you use the pen slot then the checkbook cover doesn’t fold over/close at all!This was a bummer for me!
