I am so pleased with this trenchcoat. It is stylish and classic. I bought the khaki because it has a hood, which is great when you travel and it starts to rain. I appreciate the water repellent fabric. I’m somewhere between a medium and a large. The medium is roomy enough to accommodate a sweater or even a sweatshirt underneath. Not too heavy, not too lightweight. It’s just right and the length is perfect.

I'm pretty rigorous when it comes to fabric and construction and this coat is top-of-the-line. I've tried many other trenches all along the price/name brand spectrum and this is as stylish and well-made as any of them at a really unbeatable price. I wish it didn't flare, which is technically classic, but as a seamstress I can easily take in the sides from the waist down to give it a more European look. For reference, I'm a size 4-6 and sizeS is a great fit with room for a cashmere sweater underneath. 😉

Love a trench coat and the quality from London fog is always top tier amazing color, quality material, nice thickness to it and waterproof spruces up any outfit nice professional look. Classy classic look you can’t go wrong with this one stain resistant and looks so good on!! You can dress this up heels boots or down with sneakers and still look so put together, many compliments on this one.

I received the wrong coat, a more expensive coat, but that didn't matter to me. (It was a gorgeous coat!) The problem was that it runs large and the size recommended to me was way too large. I reordered it in a size smaller and got the correct coat and a better fit. The fabric is very nice and has a good weight to it. Now I can't wait to wear it!

I love my new London Fog! It arrived quickly before the expected delivery date & was packaged very well. The sizing chart was very helpful & the coat fits exactly as I had anticipated. I went up 1 size (XL) to accommodate for sweaters. I am going to order another one in Blk (L) in my true size. I love this classic coat! It will never go out of style!

Update: I ordered the XXL , unfortunately I have to return this one too. Shoulders are still cut entirely to small. I even measured as instructed. Thebrestbof the jacket fit great. I was afraid to give myself a hug though.Gorgeous trench and great feel. I have searched for a plus size with no luck.Gorgeous London Fog trench! Material is perfect and length too, has a nice weight to it, can definitely be worn spring to late fall. Color is definitely tradional khaki absolutely beautiful. I like it has inside button and a hook eye at neck as well. Definitely a well made garment.Unfortunately have to exchange for the xx-large.I am 5'7 plus size (225lbs). The shoulders were cut too small right up to the armpit, barley could fasten the jacket. I normally wear xl with shirts, jackets etc, this one came in shy of fitting properly.A little disappointed in reviews I based my size on their reviews and sizing.7Excited for the replacement to come in! I will give an update when it does

I have ordered a number of "trench" and "mac" rain coats and they are not rain coats but thinly lined jackets. One was the same fabrication as this (cotton/poly %) and I was worried this was going to be shiny but it's not. I read it was lined and really wanted an insulated rain coat or one with a zip out lining for warmth in the winter. This is heavier than the others I tried and has a bit of insulation, enough to keep warm without layers of clothing underneath so this is "PERFECT". London Fog came through, classy, smart and well made. Nice deep pockets, a hood, buttons to the top with a button on the interior to seal yourself up to the neck when it's windy and wet. VERY, VERY happy and for the price, it was less than the others I ordered at Macy's and elsewhere. The belt does not have a buckle but ties, which is what I wanted. The buttons have a bit of a shine to them, a modern touch. Comfortable with room for a cardigan layer if I wanted it. My husband has a London Fog Signature Car Coat and it has a removable liner, he has had it for years. I have a Burberry Mac Coat with a removable wool liner I have had over 20 years that I love but it does not fit me right now. The only improvement I would recommend is having London Fog offer a woman's version with a removable wool or fleece liner, even if just an option and an additional cost. However, this will keep me warm without multiple layers but at times I'd prefer a t shirt to a light weight sweater and it would be nice to have a coat that gave an option of a removable liner. But that is a wish for the future, I'd certainly buy one even if this one is perfect for the cold, wet PNW winters and hoping it lasts as long as our other nice rain "coats".

I am 5’3”. It is hard to find a trench coat in petite so I thought I would get this in a size medium and just live with the fact that the sleeves would be a little long. But it just looks ridiculous on, like I am a child playing dress-up in someone else’s coat. The sleeves aren’t just a little long—they go all the way over my hands, and I could look into having it altered but that might cost more than another coat. I think this would be a great coat if you are at least 5’8”. Unfortunately I purchased this for a trip and realized too late it just wasn’t going to be wearable, so it is too late to return it. It’s still hanging in my closet unworn until I decide to try to have it altered or give it away.

Love love love this jacket. I feel good wearing it. Pictures don’t do it justice. The material is spot on, pockets have nice depth. Fits a tad bit big but my middle age spread will fix that at the rate I am going. I am very happy with it.

Got a few compliments on it on the first day. It's lined and can be worn in the winter with an extra layer or two. I'm 5'2 (159cm) 42kg, and the XS size reaches about mid-calf.
