Was kicked off vine unfairly so I won't be putting in effort where it isn't appreciated.

I like that it’s made of glass and has a stainless steel filter. Very easy to clean and use. I didn’t follow instructions properly during the first few uses and it had sludgy coffee resting at the bottom. If you follow directions right you’ll have no problem. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an iced coffee brewer.

I would have liked the filter to go down closer to the bottom, but as long as I'm making a full pot that didn't turn out to be an issue. If I were just making enough for tomorrow, not so much since the water wouldn't be up into enough of the grounds. I like this well enough that I've converted one of my grinders to handle the coarse grounds needed for cold brew. The low levels of bitterness you get from cold brew is definitely worth the planning ahead needed.

Love the metal centerpiece. Doesn't hold a lot of coffee....

Love cold brew and was using my French press for it but it left grounds to deal with. This is perfect and the coffee is very good. It's also easy to set up with the water and grounds and easy clean up.

I was wanting to save money but absolutely love cold brew coffee. This cold brew maker is great. The metal filter makes sure the coffee grounds stay out of the cold brew. It fits nicely in my fridge. I am looking forward to also using it to make infused water with fruit. It’s very sturdy and easy to wash.

This works as intended. Following the instructions, we brewed the coffee in the fridge for 24 hours (which seemed a bit excessive to me since most cold brew recipes say 12-24). When it was ready we removed the infuser device. The grounds were easy to dump in the trash and then rinse out the infuser to get the last of the grounds out. You could also dump grounds in the garden/compost since they're good for that. The pot pours nicely and it holds a good amount without being too big to fit in the fridge with other things. The instructions say to grind your own coffee with a coarse grind but that seemed like too much work. The coffee on hand was a store brand "rough grind" and worked well. The instructions also give amounts in grams for coffee and water so if, like me, you do not have a kitchen scale, take into account that you'll need to do some simple conversions. There are two negatives:1) The instructions say that this pot will need to be descaled frequently, which will require additional time/money, depending on how you do it. If you are a big cold brew/iced coffee drinker be prepared to dedicate a fair bit of time to this and to purchase descaler (suggested), especially if you have hard water.2) If you like your coffee sweet, you'll need a sugar syrup. Because of the nature of cold brew, you won't be able to put granulated sugar in and have it melt. Amazon does sell a good variety of syrups similar to what's used at Starbucks etc. but this is another cost you may not consider at first.Still, despite these concerns, it should amount to being quite a bit cheaper than getting coffee everyday at a coffee shop. If you're trying to save money, this is worth consideration.
