I've purchased this for an upcoming trip in September 2025.Others state to just get a map once at Yellowstone, but I'm finding this super helpful for advanced planning - it's much easier to visualize once on a map.Stickers aren't great, so I just purchased some different ones, and add to it once I find another place of interest on our list to visit.Easy to colour code with stickers, as we are staying in three different areas.Very pleased with this purchase.

This map is small, on thin paper, only has the north and south loop roads (none of the smaller side roads), trail markings are too light to see well and several trails aren’t labeled, the in-park lodging areas aren’t shown. It has some pretty pictures but otherwise not useful. I bought this map to plan our 3 day stay in YNP. I threw it in the trash..worthless.

This map was great—easy to read while offering helpful advice to the best places to see and the routes to take so you don’t miss a thing and optimize your time. It helped me plan the trip before I arrived which is very beneficial. However, after paying entrance fees to the park, they will give you a map though it isn’t the exact same one. I still preferred having this one in advance to help plan your route.

This map was not informationally better than the one the park gives you, though it is printed on better paper. Main sights are highlighted along with tips, but all the "tips" are easily found on the internet. Insets of key areas with more detailed info on parking, toilets, and trails would have been more useful. Save yourself $8 and just read some travel reviews and/or download the park app.

Of all the maps used for a week in Yellowstone, this one was quickly relegated to the not-used pile. It is the least useful, least informative, least helpful, and ranks dead last in value-for-money of all the maps used for the trip. The National Park Service guide is more useful and the National Geographic maps are more helpful. Save your money and get another map.

Its food andthe paper isthe rightsize, so the print is too little. They should hae the whole park on one side and just the loop road sights on the other.
