The best binding out there!!! With the most elastic travel of any binding, I think this binding offers a pinch more safety than all the others. Though they are a little heavier

I am a Type III (advanced) skier, so my DIN is set to the maximum for my weight. I have these bindings (95mm brake) on my ON3P Woodsman skis (96mm underfoot). I do not want my skis to release except when I would be injured. Many bindings will release even at high DIN settings because the design of the binding assumes it will be subjected to a standard set of forces. Other bindings, with my high DIN setting, have released after a fall, for example. Not the Pivots. The Look Pivots prevent a release at a very wide range of angles. So if that is what you are looking for, the Pivots do a good job. I sometimes see kids in the terrain park going off jumps and landing backwards, etc. For lower DIN settings and less advanced skiers, these bindings will not be ideal, as you may injure yourself if you expect your ski to come off when you fall, and it does not.
