Every pair of these I have ever had has had a set of scissors behind the flat jaws. I never would have thought to check. Especially since these are the “fancier” more expensive brand. Really disappointed to get them and find out they don’t have the 2nd most important feature that every other pair in the dollar store has.Everything else seems fine (I just opened them). They seem comfortable to use although without scissors I won’t be using them.Bought these to replace a cheap no-name pair I have had for years. Gonna send them back.

I bought these at the end of last year, based on the reviews. I took them out fly fishing this last weekend, and they broke on the first use. Lightly clamped down the weight on my line and the metal sheared off with almost no pressure.

They are awesome thicker than the normal chrome ones. Have a jig eye opener on them that is the best one I have seen absolutely love these.

I received two pairs of Loon forceps as Christmas gifts. This set was not aligned properly out of the factory and broke on the second use. I crimped a tippet ring and one of the grabbing ends broke off. I am now using the mitten version with no issues. I am not sure what type of metal is being used or the production method but it is really brittle.
