My plants were so happy with these I could see how much they perked up within a few days. I bought another when I wanted a different plant in another room. I have them set for 12 hours.

Bought this for my very dark home. LOVE that the ring is BIG and covers my entire plant. She definitely is appreciative of it.

Works perfect for my plants that don’t have access to natural light in my room.

These brought back my monsteras from the brink of death and now they're thriving. Great value for the price.

I don't have a lot of direct light in our house. This light has made my plants happy and they are thriving. Tip, remember if you lose power, you need to reset the timer if you use it. :)

For a full-spectrum white LED light this works pretty well (though not as well as the red/blue full spectrum lights) and the ring style has a more attractive finished look than the rectangular kind that are just sheet metal. The height is good and it stays at full extension despite it being a narrow "fishing pole" style as opposed to the kind that let you lock each extension in place with a wingnut. The ring itself does not like to stay put, however, and will happily fall over any time you touch after getting it set in place it so I'm taking 1 star off for that.It seems to give just enough light for a Janet Craig dracaena and a schefflera/umbrella plant (both are indirect light plants) at full brightness set for 12 hours so it may not be ideal for plants requiring full direct sunlight and, overall, I'm happy with this purchase despite the instability of the ring.

I might be slightly obsessed with my plants. Out of my 35 (and counting!) leafy roommates, I definitely have a few VIPs. Like my birth plant—yes, my mom bought it the day I was born, and 40+ years later, we’re both still kicking. Then there are the plants my husband has gifted me over the years, earning themselves honorary family status. Oh, and let’s not forget the ones I’ve smuggled home from vacations like botanical souvenirs. Basically, I don’t have pets, but my plants? They are my babies. Here’s the catch: I live in a cold, damp, and depressingly dark corner of the world where the sun is like that flaky friend who never shows up. Enter these grow lights, which have become the unsung heroes of my plant-parenting journey. They’re so easy to set up that even someone who still writes checks and considers a rotary phone “high tech” (ahem, me) can figure them out. The timer? Foolproof. And the best part? My plants are thriving. They’re greener, perkier, and probably plotting to nominate me for Plant Parent of the Year.

I bought this light for one of my very tall plants. I use the timer function and have it come on late at night. It works like a charm. I will say that if you have it fully extended it's not the most stable, so I do recommend having something to help prop it up in the pot.

Edit to original review: Seller reached out after seeing my review. They are working in better QC with the manufacturer and provided a refund for the light that didn’t work. Excellent customer service! I have since bought two more Lordem grow light products. Original review: I bought this 10” halo grow light set with the intention of putting one in a tall monstera plant and saving the other to put in another monstera that was much younger, but would need a taller light within a few months. The first light worked perfectly and has continued to work since I bought the set. Today I pulled out the box to install the second one in my little monstera that has grown large enough to need it and that halo light was dead on arrival. It has been stored in its original box, safely in a closet so I'm guessing it was defective upon arrival, but unfortunately I didn't realize this until now....too late to return sadly. Be sure to test both lights upon arrival so you avoid getting a bad product like I did. The product support provided on Amazon doesn't apply to this light, it's for something entirely different so completely worthless and there is no way to contact the seller. These aren't cheap so this belated discovery was a bummer.

Highly recommend these lights, they are huge and have great coverage with a sturdy pole. As soon as I set them up I texted my bestie to buy a set too. Great price for a great product.

Received this product very quickly--in less than 24 hrs. Came in it's own packing box without an outer amazon box. Seems like that could be a recipe for breakage, but mine arrived ok. It is easy to assemble, and has a small folded instruction sheet. I don't know how it will work over the long haul, but for now I like it. My problem is that the controls are confusing. You can tell which lights are on by the colors showing thru, and the amount of light is a judgement call--you rely on your eyeball I guess. But the timer is most confusing. You press the clock button, the number of hours are listed under one of the three buttons, printed in numbers that are small and hard to read. I pressed 8 hrs and a blue light is blinking. I have no idea if it is set or not. I found the most instructions on the actual product listing on amazon, but still not sure if I got it right. In general I thing it seems fine. This is an update: The blinking blue light is on ALL the time--what a waste and annoyance. The only way to get it to be off is unplug it but then you can't use the auto-timer. This blinking light is not small--in the middle of the night if I wake up and see it in a darkened room it is significant--I just can't understand its purpose and resent the waste of electricity!
