I figured that this was a stereotypical cheap Chinese-made garment, but even I was a bit surprised at the low quality of the material it is made from. I have had garments which were delicate but felt like they were well constructed and would be ok so long as they were handled carefully. With this piece, I fear whether it will survive the washing machine - or even hand-washing.It will suffice as the costume piece it was meant for, but I fear I may need to purchase a replacement soon.
