I didn't really know what to expect but I was told by a friend who trains puppies all the time that to get them to stop pulling on their leash the prong collar is the only way to go. He also explained it doesn't hurt them and is very humane which I trusted as well. I got this for my small dog that's just under a year old and he went from constantly pulling as hard as he could on the leash to rarely pulling on it in a heartbeat. I tried pushing the collar as hard as I could into my neck and it didn't hurt at all. I had to take off the plastic nubs that they give you with it because those were creating too much friction with my dog's hair and were causing matting - the matting is significantly better with them off and it doesn't change the feel. I am really happy I got this and if looks and feels like it'll last for much longer than I'll need it for.

Works just as intended, our dog no longer pulls us. Even my 8 year old son can walk her without being walked instead. I would recommend to anyone that needs help with there pup

Very hard to get prongs off to size it. It is very strong and hold up well, but its not the choker style, so it doesn't really work that well on the dog, slips down from the position where you need it. Doesn't really affect the dog as it should, as he pulls it should tighten and press on his points for training and this doesnt do that, he still pulls but not as much. Should have ordered a choker style instead of this one.

These collars are very good. I walk two hounds that like to pull but don’t when they wear these. I love the way they connect and find it very easy to go on and take off. I have rheumatoid arthritis so that feature is important to me. Price point I’d great compared to pet shops.

I like the easy on off clasp. However it is really hard to remove 2+ links and reattach to make collar small enough for my dog, a 10 lb. Dachshund mix.

I'm not sure why this design doesn't allow the collar to tighten and release as it should. Useless. Returning.

I love the lock so no one can easily take it off or slip off. I took off 3 links to fit my dog the it doesn’t stretch but I think that’s a silly rating. It does fall down easily but I believe that is because of my dogs fur. It gives a good correction and I liked the little protection on the tip so it’s not as harsh.
