Just what I was looking for a simple transformer. My led/low voltage landscape lights are on the same manual switch as several house mounted 120v lights. I wanted a transformer without programming or timers or light sensors that just provided low voltage when it was powered without the bells and whistles. Works as planned. I saw the comment about 3 prongs and they are not needed for a device that externally is all sealed in plastic. 3 prongs are normally used on devices with metal case or exposed metal parts that could become electrified. To protect yourself with any outdoor (or used in wet area) device ensure it is connected to a ground fault protected circuit. They protect both 2 and 3 wire devices.

Needed this to run some old puck lights in a basement bar and it worked like a charm. No hassle easy connect and plugged right in to a switched receptacle for the lights.

Wanted a cheap no-frills transformer that I could turn on and off via a smart outlet with the rest of my smart home. This has worked great for 2-3 weeks.The lights are REALLY bright, so I do need to look into a dimmer, which this does not do.I do keep it under cover on my porch, so cannot say anything about how waterproof it is.

Works exactly like described but product definitely shows it comes with a 3 pronged plug but does not.Would have given 5 stars except for the plug.

Volt lighting fixtures only operate with 12-15v ac of constant voltage. Needed power without a timer, photocell, etc. Worked great.
