I'm a petite woman, 5'1 in height, 40 bust, between a 32 to 33 inch waist, 38 inch hip. I purchased the largest size in this item. It fit exactly how I imagined it would. Perfect fit for me, and comfortable. Keep in mind, I prefer a more fitted look to my sweaters, as opposed to an oversized look. This sweater is technically a kids size, but I often wear a xl in boys sizes comfortably. Any similarly sized adult would easily be able to wear it. The knit of the sweater is slightly thin, but I wear either a green or red under tank, and it's perfect. Range of motion is good. I've worked many full shifts at my job without issue. Super durable. Highly recommend.

This is NOT a cheap costume quality shirt. This shirt was so nice I felt like it was a normal sweater! Lol. I definitely recommend this for the price point and quality alone. My daughter is 11 and we ordered the 11/12 size. It's stretchy, so it fit her great, plus it was long enough to wear with leggings. She loved it!

I ordered this for my five year old daughter since it's difficult to find a Freddy Krueger sweater for a small child. The sweater itself is of decent quality. If it's cold on beggar's night though, I'll have to put an extra shirt underneath since it's a little thin. It's baggy on her and the sleeves are super long which was to be expected since she's only five but it will work just fine for her Halloween costume. I didn't want to go with the 5-6x because I was worried it would be too small. She's in a 7 or an 8. If your child is around my daughter's size, I would recommend trying the 5-6x first. I think they run big and Amazon is awesome with returns should it be too small. Overall, as a Halloween costume, I would recommend.
