threaded portion has sufficient thickness to sustain tightening torque...unlike the other one i tried.

Had a 1/8 NPT coolant sensor for my Dakota Digital dash. Trying to adapt to LS head. The sensor portion which is smaller in diameter than 1/8 NPT wouldn’t fit down through the adapter. So the adapter is absolutely worthless. Had to pick 1 star to submit rating but is 0 stars.
