This door is unfinished which means it's ready for paint or stain. Heavy duty hardware and detailed instructions are included. The glass piece is filmed in plastic for ease of finishing.

Product is high quality wood and glasses are protected with plastic film.It is very useful during painting and you can easily remove the film by using a utility knife - cut little from corners and peel it.The only negative point is length is not 80inches as described but it is 78inches. We had to add additional part to bottom in order to cover the gap.Otherwise all good.

The door came and it was in good condition, but the height x width is 78.5" x 29.75". I am not sure if all the doors are like this, but just so you are aware when you order. We will just get a kick plate, but very annoying.

Nicely manufactured, needed hardly any caulk or spackle. The plastic on the glass is perfect. No masking. Let paint or stain dry well, take a box knife and go around and it pulls off easily. Heavy sturdy and well made door.

While the quality of the doors were fine, I found the actual height was 78 1/2" much shorter than the advertised 80". Even worse, just after taking delivery I did a search and found the same identical doors (I purchased 2) on another website for 22% less. Unfortunately, Amazon does not price match so I had to pack everything up and return it. Points off for not offering price match and not listing the actual door height in description.

Box came well packed so no damage in shipping, thankfully. Doors require a little sanding and spackling before painting but not too bad. All in all it’s a good deal!

Sturdy and beautiful door, but plastic film did not peel off well. I used a plastic razor blade along the edges and a few panes, and it took me several hours. Even when I did get one plastic pane off, the edges were crooked and did not tear well. The plastic film came off in pieces and made a mess in my kitchen. See the attached photos.It would take over 40 hrs to peel off 20 panels, 2 sides (back and front).Not to mention, I paid my contractor to paint the door, which cost me more money, in addition to purchasing the door itself. I work full time and do not have the time to dedicate to removing the plastic. Now I am stuck with a door I don’t know what to do with.
