I got this since my bedroom didn’t have a door and I needed to keep my kitten upstairs. Firstly, it came broken and the side piece for doorway was shattered in middle part in a spot. Secondly, I installed this with a friend and it was near impossible to line it up straight so the door perfectly went into the side piece. It took us about 2.5 hours to set up. Magnets are alright strength wise, however my 7 pound kitten was able to escape. I even have a baby gate in front of it too as extra precaution and he still got out. Slightly disappointed based on the raving reviews. Trying to figure out how to make it stronger. Maybe I need more magnets? But I can’t buy those individually. It’s beautiful and does work well if you just need a door though.

this was easy to install and fit our opening perfectly. our opening is not standard so it was hard to find a door.this was the perfect solution and it works great

Door looks great, perfect for what I need but the screws kept breaking and stripping easily. Very soft metal, definitely use your own screws for this. Otherwise I recommend and may get another one.

I needed a door to help keep my cats out of a room but didn't have the space to reinstall the original door and didn't want to do major construction although a pocket door would have been perfect. I went with an accordion folding door due to cost, low profile when open and ease of installation. Realizing that cats can get through flimsy things, I was happy to see that these doors are a thicker vinyl (double paneled) and not just a "curtain" type door. Installation was simple- I watched a video and followed directions and had the door installed by myself in less than an hour. And my cats had this door open in probably the same amount of time (cats, right?). Well, I contacted the company and asked if the "locking clip" (which is in the middle of the door) is available as a separate item because I thought adding an additional clip to the top and bottom would help outsmart my cats and it did! The company was very responsive, the items are available separately and they provided me with 2 additional clips that have so far outsmarted my cats. I have to push the top and bottom in when closing the door but it's much more cat resistant. I also loved that this door was available in silver which matched my gray/black colors and is a bit more modern looking. That's the main reason I've given this product and company 5 stars- I like the product and the company is very responsive to questions.I did have a couple issues with how the product arrived. I did order a "used" door which was listed in "very good condition". This was about half the cost of a new one. It's not everyday that the carrier knocks on your door to let you know how badly a box is damaged but it happened with this door. Most people wouldn't have accepted it but I took a chance. The box was open at the top and had many holes. Turns out, all the hardware was still in the packaging and the door had never been installed. There was some obvious damage but these areas are on the back side of the door and not visible and don't compromise the door. I'm glad I took the chance because I got a functioning door at a good price and saved it from the trash (because there's no way it would have survived another return). I also now know that this is a good product and a good company to deal with and I will definitely look at their products again when I'm in the market.Also, while extra locking clips worked for me, if your door closes with magnets, you may want to look into adding a latch or even hook and loop tape to help keep it closed if you have curious cats you're trying to outsmart (I considered those options before adding extra clips).
