One of my go-to gift items. If you travel even occasionally, this thing is amazing. It takes care of 3 common travel issues - needing to weigh your bag for a return trip (am I the only one who buys stuff on every trip?), a dying phone, and needing a bit more light. It doesn't take much space - I store mine in that tiny zipper pocket on the top of my backpack/carry on bag. Just remember to charge it every now and then so it's ready when you need it!
