I took these with me on a recent trip to Japan and they worked perfectly. They are small enough to fit in my carry on bag so that I would weigh items if necessary while checking in luggage. I actually used them in our house and hotel rooms while packing so I could max out our allowable weight for each luggage. We went shopping in Tokyo and I wanted to be able to spread the weight of various items across 4 different luggage that we wanted to check in (without going over the allowed weight and paying extra). I used this scale to fill our luggage to within less than half a pound of the maximum weight and never had an issue with checking them in with the airlines. The temperature sensor on the luggage scale is also something that I didn't expect would work quite well but came in handy on the different cities that we visited. I also use these to weigh my bikes and ebikes, as well as when shipping packages that weigh upwards of 5 lbs. and they work perfectly. One of my ebikes weighs about 65 lbs with the battery and it's just good to have this in the garage as well for different uses. I highly recommend this luggage scale if you're looking for something accurate and reasonably priced.As an Amazon Vine Voice, I provide unbiased reviews of products most people would need or want. Do not buy this. It doesn’t work at all. I even replace the battery etc and tried different way to insert the battery to make sure it wasn’t put in wrong but still didn’t work. So so disappointed.

This luggage scale finally arrived today in time for trip next week. It came in a small box with instructions and a cr 3032 battery. Insert the battery into the tray and insert the tray into the slot. I was struggle a bit to figure out which side is the positive. Finally I just insert the battery into the slot without the tray and turned it on. Once it turned on, I put it into the tray and slide it into the slot.It seems to give almost the same weight of my luggage as on my bathroom scale.I can now measure the luggage with a lift of my fingers… literally speaking
