This is great for kid's parties, Halloween, etc. Because what kid doesn't love bubbles and fog??? We have another similar unit and we wanted a second for next year's Halloween festivities. This one is a little less friendly than the one we have but still keeps the fun going. The plus is the remote as we can place this one a bit higher and in a tougher to get to spot without burning through fog and bubble juice.None of these are perfect at these price points. Higher end units will offer more flexibility, bigger reservoirs, be less noisy, etc. But, for most of our needs this will work well and provide a ton of joy and entertainment.

Our kids are suckers for bubbles and my husband wanted something more versatile. this is perfect and can add smoke for halloween or bubbles for parties. Doing the combo blew the kids minds!

First thoughts upon receiving this bubble/fog machine were "this thing is big and heavy." I wanted to make sure to give this the best possible chance so I scanned the enclosed QR code and ordered the bubbles they suggested and swamp fog from the same bubble brand (rather than the fog they suggested....) I waited for the fog and bubble juice to arrive and as soon as they got here, I filled up the reservoirs and turned it on. I do NOT recommend turning it on inside - the bubble juice is a lot stickier than the bubble juice I have used in the past.... Let me rewind a bit... I turned on the bubble and fog and it pushed out the fog but the bubbles didn't seem to form so I turned off the fog part and the let the bubbles get going. Once they were going (again, do NOT use inside) I turned the fog back on and within moments, I had fog bubbles and it was magical. Not wanting to create a bigger mess than necessary, I turned the machine off so I could try it properly the next day, outside. The nest day found us outside making fog bubbles and giggling maniacally. A few days later, I had the grandkids over and of course I had to pull out the fog bubble machine only this time, it seemed to be making a lot more noise - or perhaps I just didn't notice it the first two times in my excitement over the fog bubbles - but it was kind of clanking. It still produced awesome fog bubbles and everyone was happy so I can't complain too much.As for why 4 stars instead of 5 (because fog bubbles - 5 stars for that) is clean up is... challenging. I wanted to pour the unused bubble and fog juice back into their respective containers but that required disconnecting the hoses and whatnot and I don't have the confidence in my ability to put it back together correctly so I left the fog and bubble juice in the machine's reservoirs, hoping that it will be okay to do so. Also, the clanking sound is worrisome because I did have to pull the reservoirs our to fill them (NOT disconnect them, just pull them out a bit and them squish them back into their places.) and I am not sure if they were put back in place quite right since it was a little difficult locking them down. It is still a very cool machine and I am pretty sure the issues are mostly user error so I mostly recommend this product with some caution.

I was super excited to add this one to our holiday arsenals, unfortunately it looks like we got a dud.I'm familiar with fog, bubble and smoke machines, so naturally I wanted fog inside of bubbles. The unit I received was unable to do that, it doesn't even make regular bubbles.I used all the right stuff, I have plenty of the good bubble and dense fog solution left over from Halloween. But no results. The fog is kind of weak and doesn't pump out, bubbles + bubble fog mode, nothing happens. A loud fan turns on followed by a clicking sound, but nothing.Just another item for the broken junk pile...

This is a fun machine that combines a bubble maker and a fog machine to give you either fog, bubbles, or both.As a bubble machine, it's nicely made compared to most of the home bubble machines people are going to encounter. As a fog machine, the build quality seems to be fairly typical which is to say pretty good. It is made of sheet metal and has a solid feel. The reservoirs for smoke and bubble liquid are tucked neatly into the sides of the machine, and the power cord is a standard detachable power cord.The output (both in fog and bubbles) is lower than you might expect given the size of the machine. I assume combining both functions results in a bulkier machine than you might otherwise have. I've used both fog machines and bubble machines that were a lot smaller but output more, though they didn't output both.The remote control allows you to turn on/off the smoke and bubbles. Note that it does not have the wired control seen on some fog machines so you can't for example turn on the smoke when a switch closes. You can set an intermittent mode with the remote.The machine is fairly big, which may limit how you can use it.Overall, it works well and is a fun addition for parties or Halloween.
