I am a regular bow tie wearer, so when I spotted this item, I just had to grab it. Naturally, it's not a "real" bow tie—there is no way to add the lighting without pre-tying it—but the lighted outlining is just perfect to highlight the natural folds of a real bow tie. In my first Zoom meeting of the day, colleagues commented on it right away!The only design improvement I would suggest is to shift to button batteries instead of AAs, so that the battery compartment can be incorporated into the knot, instead of hanging over my shoulder. Really, though, this is a quibble, and I have had no trouble with the external battery case.
