When I'm cleaning brass, I like to wash for 30 minutes in my sonic washer, rinse, then tumble for 30 minutes to finish drying and polish. I have a large Dillon tumbler, and I have polished over 14,000 cases so far with the first load of this media. I think it's about time to change it. Stuff works great, lasts a long time, and my brass comes out looking new. Highly recommend it.

I like the corn cob, not as much dust as the walnut. polishes well. Came in a box from Lyman, had plastic bag inside, not a bucket as shown. No matter really, works as needed. I have other empty containers to use. If item matched picture, would have given 5 stars.

Jug will last a long time. Makes brass look like new. Not too abrasive like walnut shells. Good polish media.

Leaves dust on cases and doesn't polish whatsoever. It DOES clean the cases quite well and fast, but leaves an unattractive dusting on them. It also is quite big bits of media and they always lodges in the primer pocket (normally in the sifting process media fall out, but this stuff doesn't). So since I have to sift it all and load up my polishing walnut media, I'm giving it it 2 stars.I’m updating to 3 stars just because of how long it’s lasted. They media is still functional and doesn’t leave the brass coated in dust. It does however still get horribly compacted in the primer pockets. I still currently use the Lyman media as the first tumble and then move to polishing. I’ve left primers in and out. The media holds up quite well. It took a long time to work how it should though. Also, since it coats your brass in dust, expect your tumbler to turn green too! It cleans up well so take it how you wish.

I have been using this stuff for years, and decided to do a review, because it's a great product, and you can get good use out of one container. Just keep using it until it no longer cleans your brass/nickle cases well, then replace it with a fresh amount. I use it with a tablespoon or two of Lyman turbo bright, and mix it in the tumbler according to instructions. My brass comes out sparkling new in about 2 hours. This is for moderately dirty brass, and will take a little longer if the brass is really filthy. Bottom line. Highly recommend it for bringing your spent brass back to like new condition. It's a very good value for the money.

I use this in Lyman 1200 Tumbler with a little Flitz additive and it works great. The additive not only polishes your brass quickly but also cuts dust down to nothing. My brass came out looking brand new after 3 hours in the tumbler. Like with other media it does get in to flash hole if you clean your brass after you de prime so I won't do that again. It wasn't hard to get out anyway just a little annoying but that was my fault. Works better than more expensive nut media in my opinion.
