I have only had this product for half a day and I'm already impressed. Unlike another set of microphones I recently returned from a different brand, these have no self noise and are very clear. I did not expect to use them today however, the performer with an acoustic guitar today had trouble with his internal pickup so I threw one of these into action. The default cardioid pattern capsule that was on it performed amazingly well in that environment. Afterward I soloed the microphones for my own amusement and listened for anomalies. I did not detect any issues. I then played with the various capsules and noted the differences. I would highly recommend this right off the bat. So long as these last a while, I am truly impressed.

These mics are good.. I place them in front of my Amp and feed to the mixer., They sound great and don't pick up all that background noise in the studio.. Would buy again., These 2 units are a good price and quite decent for my home recording sessions..

I was the main soundrecordist for an Audible podcast episode (BC episode of Wild Sounds of Canada) and wanted to use these microphones with a set Tascam D60 recorder in the forest to record wildlife sounds. The microphones were not a sensitive as I needed. They may be fine in studio use but not very good for outdoors. I changed to LOM microphones which worked better for me in my application. They came in a handy little suitcase and are protected. It think they would be a good set for indoor use

I’ve purchased two sets of these, one for my Church for general utility mics, and I was so impressed by the sound I bought a set for myself.First and foremost, these are excellent sounding mics! They sound just as good as my SE7s and a $500 pair with interchangeable capsules that a parishioner let the church borrow earlier in the year. Like most small-diaphragm mics, they are quite sensitive to plosives, but for recording instruments or capturing choirs, they are phenomenal.Having interchangeable capsules for different pickup patterns make them great for all kinds of scenarios. Right now with my church offering only online services with a skeleton crew choir, we are using one with a cardioid capsule facing the distanced choir, and the other with the omni capsule in the center of the room. A very unorthodox setup, but it sounds great on the livestream, honestly better than live in the room. All the capsule types work quite well and all share the same quality of sound, making this kit useful in all kinds of scenarios.Where I have to take off a star is in the build quality. The initial set I purchased works great, though some of the black paint flaked off one mic simply by touching it, though that’s just an aesthetic issue. The second set I purchased came with with one of the mics having significant electrical noise, meaning I had to send it back for exchange. I received the replacement set today, and once again they sound great, and once again some paint flaked off immediately. Again, just an aesthetic issue, no big deal considering their cost and the sound quality. The case is pretty good, definitely great to have a place for everything to be stored and transported neatly and reasonably safely. The included mic clips are a bit loose holding the mics. I wouldn’t trust them in a scenario where the mics were being held up high and had any risk of being bumped, I’m sure they would slip out and fall with very little effort.Overall, they sound great and are fantastic utility mics to have around. The build quality isn’t the greatest, but at this price point I can’t complain too much, especially considering how good they sound and how useful they are.

I purchased these in order to make a high quality stereo recording of a piano for an EP I'm working on, and they rose to the occasion flawlessly.Immediately on seeing and feeling the case, these already felt like a high quality product, and that impression has only continued as I have worked with them. The solid, all-metal casings are clearly well manufactured and durable; the mics have a good, solid weight to them, feeling like a product of 2-3x the price. (I know I'm harping on the ~feel~ of these things quite a bit, but I feel that it really does show that these have a care and quality of manufacture that isn't necessarily always present or expected at this price point.)The swappable mic capsule system works exactly as advertised, allowing easy access to three different polar patterns within 30 seconds. The windscreens and mic clips feel like they will last quite a long time, which just shows the care and attention to detail put into every part of the equipment. The audio performance of the mics themselves is generally quite transparent, with no audible issues of any kind. Do be aware that the different mic capsules have different frequency performance characteristics; for me, this is not an obstacle, but rather an enhancement, a bit of tonality that I can use as part of my recording methods. All in all, an incredible piece of equipment that I would recommend highly even if they cost $300. As it is, these are, I think, one of the best deals on audio equipment around.

I purchased these mics with no great expectations bearing in mind the pricepoint. That said i have been pleasantly surprised be it mic'ing up acoustic instruments, a choir or a duo they have performed impeccably producing a clear and bright sound. The capsule options mean that you have effectively multiple microphone options in your toolkit priceless,

These mics represent incredible value. They are solidly made, and perform excellently. They have low self-noise, low handling noise, and good sensitivity. I tested them against mics several times more expensive, and if anything, I thought they sounded better: for example, compared to the Octava MK-012, the LyxPro SDPC-2 has vastly lower handling noise and superior sound quality with all capsules. The fact that you have three capsules for each mic is just an amazingly convenient feature for any production. The included case is well-intentioned, but of questionable value - as another reviewer observed, the capsules tend to shift all around inside. Yes, you can put extra foam to stabilize them, but frankly if you really care, you should just put them in a more sturdy pelican type case. Of course, such a case would cost you more than the mics, but then again, it's amazing that these even come with *any* case at this price.I have not experienced any issues with the threading on the capsules, so YMMV, but overall, I'd say they seem really well made.
