It was more on the difficult side to bleed and had to use my old reservoir. I am not a fan of working on brakes so I didn't have the best attitude coming into this project, but it worked like it should.

Issues when installing on a 2003 Yamaha Grizzly 450:1. The threaded pushrod/piston rod is "too" long and interferes with the foot brake pedal and must be shortened to work.2. Doesn't provide enough hydraulic volume to sufficiently lock the rear brakes3. Is impossible to get to bleed the system using standard pump/hold/bleed/release method. After many hours of effort, I had to make my own pressure bleed tool to push fluid through the system and remove air.

This product compared to OEM was like 1/10th of the price. I was hoping for a miracle . lol. Installed easily , the hose that goes to the holding container that stores the brake fluid was about 10 inches to short . This could have been worked with but definitely not to OEM specs. The hole that feeds fluid into the master cylinder was much smaller and wouldn’t allow for the needed amount of fluid to be passed thru for adequate pressure. I was not able to even get this master cylinder to build and hold pressure . Could have been a defective product from the manufacturer or could be why it cost 1/10 th of an OEM product. Brakes save lives. So I’ll pay the extra

The master cylinder seems to be of good quality, but the hose it too short to use as is. I had to use the old hose. It should be noted that in doing so, the nipple on the master cylinder is too small, so I removed the old one, drilled the mount hole a bit larger, and mounted it up. It took roughly 2000 pumps with the new reservoir, hose, and caliper to get it bled, but it did finally work. It's not perfect, but it fit with slight modification, thus the 3 stars.

Not an exact fit for my 2002 Yamaha Wolverine. The reservoir i could not use because the hose was too short, but i was able to attach my original to this and it works fine. Thanks

The rubber hose is way to short, have to go buy hose or look for a place to mount what came with it

This was exact match for my 2006 Yamaha Kodiak 400 4x4. The only issue is that the hose from the reservoir to the master cylinder is too short to reach the same mount hole for the reservoir. I had to replace with a longer one. But it works great.
