So this worked perfectly. The only issue is that I could not get the threading all the way down like I wanted. Functioned perfectly just didn’t have the clearance I wanted.

Local gunsmith was asking $75 to thread my barrel with a 6 months lead time. I decided to DIY it with this and the alignment tool. First barrel I've ever threaded and it worked great. Watched a few 'Tube vids and took my time. Probably won't ever use this again but it's okay. I came out ahead.

This tool stands up to abuse well. I am a novice so , thread 4 inches of barrel then turned the barrel down to remove over three inches of un wanted threading. I have since used it on 2 more barrels. I have been pleased with the quality. This is an excellent value.

This worked awesome, would buy again if I needed to. But since it's still good to go, can use it on the next threading. Worth buying, don't waste your time or money on the merlin crap.

I managed to thread an AK barrel without the slightest problem. The threads cut smoothly into the metal - how smooth? Smooth like a baby's ass.
