Office chair fix to secure the height of the pedestal. The hydraulic adjustment was bad but this quick fix keeps the chair from lowering. Just get the correct diameter of the chair pedestal and then it’s a easy install

Before buying I read the reviews to assess quality and found many reviews saying it was used to fix the buyers office chair which is exactly what I needed it for. I had measured the chair's inner post and found it to be 28mm and this collar fits perfectly and tight. It has solved my sinking chair problem.

Wow, this was a really bad buy - I ordered two M2C-28 clamping collars, it took ages to arrive and then they only delivered one collar. Tried tightening the two bolts into the fitting and neither of them would go in more than a few mm, let alone tighten down - unbelievable! Going back right now.
