This camera monitor is a useful tool to provide a reliable on-camera field monitor. The 1200 nits brightness provides a clear picture in bright outdoor conditions. The touchscreen is responsive. This monitor is lightweight, but the metal enclosure feels durable. The kit includes a shoe mount, a battery, and a charger, which is a nice touch for convenience and reducing extra purchases. Setup is straightforward.

I enjoyed using this monitor along with the included monitor mount and NP battery. Bright, touch controls make for a clean interface as well. Startup time is a bit slow however, which wouldn't be an issue except for the issue below:However, I noticed the battery doesn't lock into place properly and can be easily pushed out as it happened to me when tilting the monitor 90 degrees for a low angle shot. I tried multiple types/sizes/brands of NP- style batteries, and they all wouldn't lock into place. Not a deal breaker, but just have to be careful as when it pops out, you will be blind and it'll take a good 15 seconds to reseat the battery and turn the monitor back on (the monitor doesn't come on automatically, you have to press and hold the power button after putting it back into place)..

Der Monitor wird sicher verpackt in einem Karton geliefert. Mit enthalten ist auch eine Tasche mit Reißverschluss worin sich der Monitor mitsamt Zubehör verstauen lässt.Die Inbetriebnahme gestaltet sich auch recht einfach und die beiliegende Halterung für den Blitzschuh ist stabil und sicher. Sinnvoll ist auch die mitgelieferte Panzerglasscheibe, wie man sie für Smartphones kennt, um den Monitor im raueren Einsatz zu schützen.Die beiliegende Anleitung ist leider nur in Englisch, aber bestimmt hilfreicher als eine schlecht übersetzte Anleitung wie man es auch leider des Öfteren erleben muss.Die Helligkeit ist wirklich sehr gut, was eben auch die Nutzung im Freien ermöglicht und man dann damit arbeiten kann. Bis jetzt habe ich den Monitor vorwiegend für Workshops genutzt, weil man dann eben das Sucherbild ohne großen Aufwand mit umstehenden teilen kann. Das ist hilfreich, wenn man z.B. Menüeinstellungen etc. erklärt.Das einzige was mir bis jetzt etwas negativ aufgefallen ist: Der Bildschirm könnte mehr entspiegelt sein, aber durch die mögliche Helligkeit lässt sich das bis zu einem bestimmten Grad ausgleichen.

Bonjour.Ce moniteur de retour vidéo de 5” est de bonne qualité et est en aluminium.Je l’ai testé sur plusieurs appareils, EOS 5D, Z-CAM E1, Nikon Z6.La dalle IPS du moniteur fournie une bonne image d’une résolution de 1920 x 1080, l’entrée hdmi prend en charge le 4K, la dalle est tactile.Seul petit point négatif pour moi l’écran est brillant ce qui donne des reflets.Les réglages sont nombreux et les 3 boutons paramétrables un vrais plus.Ce moniteur est très pratique pour le retour vidéo, en plus il est léger, ce que j’aime.Il est livré avec une batterie NP-F 770, un chargeur NP-F, le support de moniteur et 2 câbles HDMI (classique et micro), ce qui en fait un moniteur de retour vidéo très intéressant à ce prix.Coté connectiques et fixations :Sur le dessus on trouve 4 boutons, un on/off et les 3 autre sont paramétrables dans le menu de réglage pour vous permettre rapidement d’afficher et de masquer les infos que vous voulez, très pratique.Côté gauche deux prises HDMI, une entrée pour la caméra et une sortie pour un second moniteur sui vous utiliser la caméra pour du studio, mais aussi pour connecter un émetteur vidéo, ainsi qu’une prise d’alimentation 12v.Dessous on trouve un filetage ¼" pour fixer le moniteur sur une rotule et prise usb-c (protégée par un petit bouchon caoutchouc facile à perdre !)Côté droit on as un filetage ¼" pour fixer le moniteur en mode portrait, une prise casque jack 3.5 et un emplacement pour carte SD (apparemment uniquement pour mettre à jour le logiciel du moniteur)A l’arrière du moniteur l’emplacement pour la batterie.Le cold shoe (rotule de fixation) est de bonne qualité, les molettes son bien accessibles et pourvue de trou afin de bien serrer avec la clef fournie, je dessus possède une petite plaque caoutchouc qui évitera au moniteur de tourner.AmitiéLaurent

Monitor flickers when you start recording.Also tends to flash green screen.Seems to not support anything that is outdated.Product did not specify what cameras it supports.

Il monitor da campo in questione è uno di quelli non particolarmente costosi, ma devo dire molto completo. Un display luminoso e molto dettagliato (è un 4k compatibile ma risoluzione nativa FHD) con tutte le funzioni di un monitor per operatori video. Ma il plus è sicuramente la possibilità di utilizzare delle lut predefinite o caricarne delle proprie dalla SD (si ha un lettore sd incorporato). Consigliatissimo!

I was immediately impressed upon receiving this monitor as it included a storage case for the monitor, as well as a battery pack and charger (something that a lot of monitors don’t include!). Having both micro and full size HDMI cables included also meant that I could try it out straight away.The construction of the monitor is excellent… I was worried that it might be a bit plasticky but it feels really well built - and also looks nice and professional, which may seem strange but I wanted this monitor for a number of paid video jobs I have lined up and it needed to be reliable in a working environment.I used it this weekend at a wedding and I dod not need to worry. The bright 1200 nit screen meant I could see it easily outdoors when filming the ceremony in bright sunlight. All of the colours looked perfect (it was attached to my Panasonic S5 II X ) and the monitor offered all of the functions I needed - and many more that I don’t need at the moment but will explore in the near future.All in all a fantastic camera monitor which definitely punches above its modest price tag… highly recommended.

I got this monitor primarily for the high nits rating. My existing monitor was only 500 nits and using it outside was always a challenge. This monitor does much better in daylight. Though even with the brighter screen, I do wish it still came with some kind of hood like my other monitor.Using the onboard controls is pretty intuitive, which is good because the included instructions are very sparse. The build quality is excellent. I really appreciate having the metal body instead of the usual plastic. And including an NP-F battery and monitor mount was a nice touch to the kit. I was also able to power the monitor directly off of my V-mount battery using one of the available 12V ports on the battery and a DC barrel plug cable. Overall, I am very happy with this monitor.

Love the metal build, feels leagues better in terms of build quality compared to similarly priced monitors. Has essential features like the ability to import LUTs via the SD card slot, histogram, waveform, peaking, etc. all with an easy to use touch screen! (which has an included screen protector)I like that it comes with a carrying case and larger NPF battery, however the battery doesn’t really fit into the case, which isn’t the end of the world but a bit annoying. Could have been remedied by including a bigger slot in the foam of the case.The main drawback is that there is a warmish/green color cast to the screen of my copy that I can’t seem to get rid of in the display settings.

From the start I'll get my only negative out of the way, and that is that I wish a hood/shade was included. It's is a very bright display that is much easier to see on a sunny day than my PortKeys PT5 II, but of course glare is an issue with any monitor. This thing has an aluminum body, which you don't normally get at this price point. The colour just needs a little tweak to back off the green, which you can easily do in the colour controls. I output from my camera with an in-camera LUT, so I didn't have to load one to the monitor (which is possible). The touch screen is responsive and the menu is familiar if you've used any other monitor. All the display options are there (false colour, focus peaking, etc.). The case it comes in is nice. I've very happy that the monitor I got has their updated logo, and not the one with the goofy lightning bolt (I'm a graphic designer... these things bother my lol). The accessories this seller includes are great, especially the Leaplight aluminum swivel mount. I'm sold, and my old PortKeys monitor has already found a home with someone else. The Shimbol M5 is also a perfect companion to my Shimbol TP Mini wireless video system (which is what made me so confident I'd like the monitor).
