Very well made shackles and cable guides. Just remember that the shackle nuts are metric so SAE sockets are not tight fit

Needed to pull sagging fence (similar to sagging gate) back into place. Had on hand vinyl covered wire rope (1/4 inch including the vinyl) already attached to a turnbuckle from a previous project. Installed screw eyes at the opposing corners of the fence section. This kit provided all I needed to attach the wire rope to the two screw eyes. Tightening the turnbuckle pulled the sagging section of fence back into "square". Great purchase to support a neat and safe job.

Both packets were marked 1/4 inch. Went to Home Depot to get some more and the 1/4 inch I purchased there were bigger. I purchased 3/16 and they matched the Amazon 1/4 in.

Used these to hang a 3 sided shade sailcloth. 6 of each piece is the exact number needed: 2 sets for each of the three ends. These are exactly what you need to fasten to steel cable. They would hold up much more weight than than what I’m using them for.

This is a good set of 1/4 inch wire rope thimbles and attachments comparable to what I can find at the local hardware store for a fraction of the price. It includes a full set that allows some versatility in application. I can’t count the number of times I’ve found having a spool of cable handy for backyard projects. These will be put to use next spring when I create tension ropes for another series of logs that I will use to expand my mushroom garden.
