Consistently detects accurately. I haven't used it for a long time but I can say it works. High quality and wil last under most use cases. The long cord is helpful for most projects and you can cut to size.

Very good sensor for small signal applicationsPros:1. Solid build, with stainless steel body and lock rings.2. Long body allows sensor to be placed deeper in a cavity or tank.3. PVC sensor face is rugged and oil-resistantCons:1. The cable is not armored, but is a flexible PVC. A silicone and/or armored cable would bump up its ruggedness.2. Cable is short. A longer cable would allow for a junction box connection.3. 150mA is an unusual signaling amperage, so this sensor is not useful in a 4-20mA system without modification.Summary: Good, inexpensive sensor, but is limited by its signal sourcing
