I know Mackie is quality sound equipment but I had to send this one back. 1. I tested it one time only. It sounded great except the FX effects all sounded the same. I’ve used analog mixers since a teen and that’s the first thing that is checked as a singer for live performances, not for the studio. 2 The DAW SENT WAS NOT PRO TOOLS🤬. It is a free version of WAVEFORM? But to be honest it gets great reviews on YouTube, but I could have downloaded the FREE VERSION myself and paid for the add ons. The Headphones are not Tascam but at least they were MACKIE head cans.. 3 second time I used it, it wouldn’t come on. I’m likke 👀 lol. Thank GOD for Amazons 30 day return and this happened right away,. or I would have been screwed. I could have just gotten the mixer for less without all of the extras. I have that stuff already. The pro tools DAW is what sold me to get this one. So yeah you got me , but I guess it came back quick. Not cool at all.. Now I’m paranoid to get a product with a great reputation, but I think I’ll take my chance with Mr Yamaha. I hate writing bad reviews. People just do what’s right. SMH

The mixer itself is great and the price here is cheaper than Guitar Center. The only issue I have is that the ad says it comes with ProTools and it doesn't. Other than that, it's a great deal. It's much lighter than my old Mackie mixer and the package comes with a lot of cables which gives more bang for the buck. I definitely recommend buying this mixer.

Unfortunately it did not come with everything in pictures but they upgraded the head phones to Mackie ones and did not come with pro tools or headphones jacks for headphones but it did come with extra cords which was useful

Use for sports broadcasts. Don’t need the Effects but it’s there nonetheless

The package price was a great value, especially including 2 x 10ft XLR cables, low end but descent Tascam headphones. The entire package cost less than the mixer by itself anywhere else in this particular package. Anyone familiar with Mackie products knows how great of a component the mixer is. My specific application is recording drums. This particular mixer includes compression on each channel which comes in handy for kick drum and snare input. USB I/O allows me to work with my older iMac and DAW.

Most people read 1-star reviews looking for "why the hate" so I'll start with the negative before I go into why I'm angry. The first thing you'll notice is how much plastic is in this thing. Not very Mackie at all. I'm told this is the way they make some of their product line now. The second is the lack of FX Send/Return which seems like not a big deal (and I should have noticed before purchase) but it gets annoying to think you can't add a nice FX device to the chain to add to any channel you like. Then there are the onboard FX. The very height in underwhelming. I mean, you either get barely any effects or you get a ton. That's it. That's your options and they aren't nearly impressive. I have a 15 year old mixer from Alesis with built in effects and the count is about 99 of them. This thing has like 25 and they are bland as heck. The Mute buttons are cute but they feel like the candy you get in a 25cent vending machine. I disliked the amount of output options as well.I was actually going to sell it but then it broke after 5 weeks.I'm not a 1-star review guy but this thing... It was fine yesterday, today Channel 2 does not work. It drives me nuts. The nearest Mackie dealer is an entire state away and customer service is only on weekdays, etc...It's not a paperweight or anything, I can still use it for something at some point but I feel cheated AF. I'm buying a Behringer Mixer and definitely purchasing the Amazon warranty this time because his is BS.I'm not trying to be a jerk to Mackie but I seriously cannot in good conscience recommend this product to you. This is probably the first review I've written in years and years.
