Tips:
This V8043E1012 is suitable for relatively new style valves. Please look inside the power head, the manual switch is on top, make sure there are only screws on the top left and bottom right corners of the base plate, and not on the other two corners. If there are 4 screws, it means you have a very old valve and may need a conversion kit 4003918.
Manual opener (on all models, except straight-through, normally open valves) is use to operate valves in the event of a power failure. The valve returns to the automatic position when the power is restored.
Note: Auxiliary switch is not energized when the valve is manually opened. Only the motor will move the valve to the fully opened position to activate the end switch when the power head energized. You can feel the flow of hot water by touching the pipe
