Looks swank and feels over the top! Note this is a slim fit.The length of the velvet fibers is very long, like opulent. That's how you'll look, opulent. The constructions and finish of the jacket has nothing wrong with it, but is not immaculate. This won't be the most durable jacket/blazer you've bought, but it's not designed for everyday wear either. It's also $36 (at time of review). On those rare and special occasions you wear this, you'll look great and it will last through a few.This is marked as a slim fit jacket. You should be slim by their sizing! The arms are a little tight in the joints (elbow, arm pit) but come to the wrists well. I'm overweight for the sizing and that doesn't help. Just don't expect to do a lot of fighting if you wear it to infiltrate the ninja masquerade NYE gala.

Pretty keen jacket, nice velvet/velour set up that will draw attention (but not too much). Sizing seems correct, but certainly is the slim fit that was advertised. I don't think that I'd be able to bend down and pick anything up without putting some stress on the seams, at any rate.Overall build is average, with stray sewing threads here and there, and the material is pretty thin. This is a once-in-awhile wear item, so I would say that all of that is to be expected, really...I do like this jacket and plan to throw it down for some rando holiday get togethers, but I personally would not wear it to a State dinner or anything :) Otherwise, I find it perfect for the occasional wear and cocktail. Nice jacket!

I recently ordered the 2X burgundy tuxedo jacket for my husband. He typically wears a 2X in tops and is 5ft 7in. He typically doesn't fair well in slim fit, but this jacket fit him perfectly. The sleeves are slightly long but not so much that it looks oversized. The length comes to his lower hip- upper thighs. He was able to button it. The material is soft and velvet like. It is thin which is good for us in the south. I don't expect this to last but since this will only be worn a couple of times a year, we aren't worried.
