Bad adhesive tried this on the bathtub and within a week the adhesives were coming up very poor quality product

It is too bad there is not a 'best by date' on these. The backing paper is not stable and the strips come off the paper as the paper shrinks. This leaves non stick parts of the strips and of little use. Of the 2 packages I got 4 or 5 that I could use. I had some from a local purchase that had some of the same problems and I bought these as I needed more.

This is an excellent product which provides a safe grip on your footing while in the tub or shower. I don't like the bath mats with the suction cups due to mildew accumulation. These strips have no issue with mildew build-up.

The backings on the treads in one of the two packages I received was wrinkled, exposing the adhesive. The treads themselves were also wrinkled. I applied them to the tub because I needed to get the job done, but I am not confident that these will stick long term.

I am sorry but I cannot give this product a good rating. It did not turn out to be as skid proof as I thought it would be. I put the strips on the handicapped seat in the shower but when I sat on them with my wet bottom, I almost slid off of the seat so I am having to return to the bath mat.

The important thing, which is in the directions, is to use scouring powder and water to clean the tub, not something liquid or spray. I air dried my tub for 24 hours after I cleaned it so it would be REALLY dry. Then, after I put on the stickers, I pressed them down HARD with the back of a spoon. And I waited another 24 hours before I used the shower. Works great!Only 4 stars because they are expensive for the amount of short stickers you get in the package and you have to kind of spread them out to get enough coverage.I am ordering another package for my other slippery tub.
