This deck is all about ramp.. most games, by turn three-five, I’ll have up to six or eight mana. Whether that’s artifacts, creatures, or just land. And once you get the commander out,(Pantlaza, Sun-Favored) it’s reallyyy good. You see what pantlaza does, is he makes it so whenever him or another dinosaur enters, you discover until you find anything with mana value of that dinosaurs toughness, or less. Then you can either play that card for free, or put into your hand. In other words, say I get pantlaza into the battlefield, because his toughness is four, I draw cards until I find a spell, (creature, artifact, sorcery, instant, or enchantment spells) with mana value of that toughness so in this case, four. And just for clarity on why this is so good, is that you have so much mana, that you can play a dinosaur or two, then because of pantlaza’s ability you can discover for the first dinosaur, (you can only use his ability once each turn) then have a chance of getting ANOTHER dinosaur on the battlefield, OR an instant/sorcery spell to play for free. There are quite a few OP cards in here, that I won the game dealing 78 damage, and gaining 78 health due to having lifelink on all 13+ of my dinosaurs. (That was because of, “Akroma’s Will”, look it up, it’s overpowered) it basically gave all my dinosaurs double strike, lifelink, and indestructibility, vigilance, and flying.. which is just crazy. But that scenario has only happened one time, I’m just using it as an example of how broken this deck can be. There also is this super cool enchantment that allows you to draw a card on every one of your upkeeps, and if it’s a spell of the chosen creature, (with this deck you want that to be dinosaurs) you get to play it for free, so you have a chance to have a giant dinosaur before you spend any mana. And if you can’t cast it, you put it on the bottom of your deck.(I’ve won lots of other times in various ways too ofc)Do buy.. also.. ITS FRICKEN DINOSAURS, WHO DOESNT LOVE DINOSAURS???(The photos of the spells are from an app, “ManaBox”, you can search any MTG card and make a deck online so it’s easier to stay organized if needed)This deck is also very customizable with other dinosaurs or spells, I’ve added some dinosaurs, instants, an enchantment, and it’s still just as good :)Anyways hope that helped :)

This deck is perfect for anyone who enjoys tye dinosaur creature type. Its got a bunch of fun cards and even over a year later, the individual card value is higher than what I paid for the deck. Highly recommended

I honestly did not think I would be able to find this commander deck. I was very skeptical of the legitimacy regarding this order. I have never been happier to be so completely wrong. The deck arrived earlier than expected, in excellent condition and now I have the complete set of Ixalan commander decks! I am very happy with this order and cannot wait to throw down on the next MTG commander night!

Update over a year later:Recently, one of my friends had acquired this precon and brought it to the table. I was playing a dino deck with Atla Palani as the commander, and it slapped hard. My friends’ decks were also nicely built and could hold their own with whatever I had. Anyway, she won with her precon! Any upgrades for this deck would be used to improve consistency and maybe throw in some favorite dinos, but seriously, this is an excellent deck out of the box.As soon as this set became available for preorder, I knew I wanted the dino deck. The news I keep hearing is that preorders got cancelled, so I got very lucky. Anyway, the deck is amazing, the booster sample was okay (I did get a Hakbal and a foil version of one of my dino cards), and the overall value is excellent.I recommend holding off on upgrading until you’ve played this one a few times. The design has some non-obvious benefits that show up during play, and once you’ve gotten used to it you’ll know whether or not to swap cards out. I did buy a single Etali, Primal Conqueror to swap for the Primal Storm and will experiment with it. I will also drop in an Impact Tremors and, maybe, a City on Fire, because overkill, ya know.
