Not even remotely Waterproof, it's barely water resistant. If anything physically touches the water on it, the water soaks straight through the fabric.

"Vinyl" seems to be used loosely as the apron is not waterproof at all. It does not wipe clean or offer good protection from liquids. Will be buying a different item to replace

I used this today while welding heavy steel. It stops the sparks and Bee bees cold. no sign of burned spots afterwards.
