The green arc-rated jacket delivers full upper body coverage and all-day comfort that’s perfect for tackling any job. The arc-rated jacket is made from green cotton sateen, which is lighter and more breathable than leather or other types of material used in welder's clothes. The lightweight jacket protects against arc hazards, high temperatures and flames, offering the ideal level of protection for a variety of jobs. The snap-front jacket gets its ability to resist arc hazards from the Nomex thread used to sew the jacket. The MAGID 1530RF jacket meets the following standards: NFPA 70E HRC 2 (10.0 cal/cm²) , ASTM F1506-02A, and ASTM F1959M/F1959M-99. This green jacket is made of 9 oz/yd² 100% cotton sateen fabric and features one inside upper left patch pocket for convenience. Concealed front and wrist snap closures make it easy to secure the jacket without allowing heat or flame intrusion. The wide mandarin collar extends around the neck for added protection. I've only washed it once and the button clasps are rusting off . One already fell off, so spend a little extra and get a better one

Purchase this for doing some work in a manufacturing facility with necessary, safety, equipment, and standards. This jacket fit the bill, and it’s worked out great so far. It is heavy duty and keeps you warm in the facility, but it’s so flexible enough to move with no issues. Would recommend.

The snaps are a piece of junk. Tore out of the fabric. I will not buy from Magid again. I am extremely unhappy.

Never got to use it, size chart I am on the lower end of 2XL, nope, barely fit and collar is 3+ inches too small. And then I noticed that a snap was torn out of the shirt. 3 strikes against and being returned for Black Stallion shirt that fit

I use the Magid brand often enough in the welding world and it has always proven to be a quality product with high ratings. This flame retardant lighter weight protective welding shirt is very nice. Fits well and has quality snaps that work flawlessly. It washes well, holds up for years, and definitely protects against sparks from grinding and welding. The material is light weight for comfort, great color selection, and the stand up collar for protecting the neck and shoulders is perfect. I highly recommend this protective gear and will consistently purchase again when necessary.
