The decanter's wide body and long, graceful neck is carefully crafted to properly and fully aerate your wine, which releases the full array of scents and flavors. These vessels also have a more practical purpose – they separate any potential sediment from the liquid, ensuring each glass of wine is as close to perfect as possible. This elegant decanter is designed to mimic the awe-inspiring windowed cathedrals found throughout Europe, specifically the world-renowned Sagrada Família Basilica in Barcelona. A team of highly skilled artisans forms each piece by hand using glass, heated and shaped to precise specifications with maximum wine aeration in mind. Next, each decanter is carefully hand-painted with the brilliant hues of the cathedral windows, resulting in a veritable work of art to proudly display on your sideboard.
Each Antoni Barcelona piece is masterfully shaped and mouth-blown by seasoned artists of the craft using traditional methods. Glassblowing, an art form which traces back to the Roman Empire, involves heating glass to between 1,600 and 1,900°F, then carefully forming the fiery-hot blobs with a keen eye and steady hand. After being crafted to the ideal shape, the glasses are painstakingly hand-painted by artists with more than 60 years of experience and an unparalleled attention to detail. The end result is a one-of-a-kind work of art that proves itself as the antithesis of lifeless mass production.

The stopper is a little too wide for the neck of the decanter, so it only goes partway down. The look of the otherwise lovely bottle is spoiled by the note I have taped to the stopper warning that it is loose.

I am a huge fan of this brand and love the sagrada familia line. The glass is really thick and can tell it is high quality product. I did expect for it to be a little bigger but it fits exactly 750ml which is exactly what I need it to transfer my Bacardi gold ron.
