This is an all around great bag, but it has a design flaw. The area where the mags go is covered by a large flap that is held in place by elastic bands. This flap makes it somewhat difficult to insert the the mags. Not a big deal. More of an annoyance then anything, but could easily be rectified. I guess someone thought it was a good idea to add the flat so it can had potentual storage. All you would have to do is make the large flap removable and the problem is solved.Otherwise great bag for mags and pistols.

I’ve used a lot of Magpul products, starting with the original Magpul itself, that funny little rubber loop we attached to M-16 mags during the GWOT. To watch them go from that to being the Industry powerhouse, they are today has been quite a saga. And I’ve contributed to it by buying dozens of their products over the years.I was excited about this bag after seeing it in a local gun store because it is a nice size, easily accommodating two full-size modern handguns with red dot sights, plus five mags total for each. My favorite part is that it looks like a little iPad bag some boring corporate guy would be carrying around; it doesn’t scream “gun guy” in the least. All that said, I was pretty excited to use it for range days, until the very first time I opened it; the zipper pull popped right off without much force at all. The bag and the zipper pull itself look very well-made, so I was perplexed as to how that happened; until I saw the zipper, which had a huge open gap at one end which you can see in my photo.I thought this was a manufacturing flaw, and not a design flaw, until the next day in my local gun store when I saw that every other zipper on all of these bags is identical. I don’t have a clue what they were thinking, but it’s a very poor design that will fail on you a lot (though perhaps it can be fixed with a pair of pliers, assuming you don’t snap it.)It’s even worse because the zipper on this bag is very cumbersome to use. Rounding any of the corners requires either a lot of finesse, or a lot of force, since the thing is constantly getting jammed up as the bag folds in on itself. If you use force, that zipper pull again pops right off. Operating the zipper in any direction is aggravating. It’s a real shame because it is otherwise a fantastic bag for discreet handgun transport. I just don’t know what Magpul was smoking when they designed these zippers, because they normally make high-quality, very intuitive and well designed products. I really hope this gets fixed in the future.

Room for two pistols and a bunch of magazines, but not much else. You probably want another range bag if you plan on putting ear protection, boxes of bullets, cleaning supplies, and a few tools in your gun case.

Can confirm, as advertised. Fits 2 full size 1911s and holds ammo. The physical size was bigger than expected, based on the pictures -it’s neatly laid out and not cramped in the interior. Fit and finish is as expected with the Daka line
