About this item

  • SPEED LOADER 9MM - Pistol Magazine Loader for the Sig P320 and P365, fills magazines in less than 1 second. Each magazine loader 9mm is designed to process 115g ammo. The mag loader only works with original equipment manufacture (OEM) Mec-Gar or Sig P365, P320, P250, M18, and M17 magazines that hold 10-18 rounds. This v2 version also works with Macro orange follower tip magazines.
  • Easy to Use - This gun magazine loader is the P365 accessory and P320 accessory making it easy to load magazines all at once. It uses hand and arm muscles, not finger and thumb tendons. Use two hands to push straight down as fast as possible, leveraging your triceps. With this mag loader, your mag is filled in one stroke. If you lack the speed or strength needed to compress the magazine spring fully in one motion, it can load magazines partially, making it easy to use with weak hands.
  • PRECISION FIT PROTECTION - This mag loader is not a universal loader. Each 9mm magazine loader has a precise magazine fit to navigate rounds backward (square end first) at speeds exceeding 60 rounds per second for all-at-once loading. The precision fit protects your magazine, feed lips, and spring from damage. It does not work with other calibers. Please verify CALIBER and MAGAZINE compatibility before purchasing this gun magazine loader.
  • Short Learning Curve - With some practice, you'll soon learn to muster up the speed needed to use this quick loader successfully. Practice with five rounds and always start with an empty magazine. Don’t reuse the same ammo through the loader more than three times. Load directly from a box of ammo or loose ammo. You'll find it's easier than learning to ride a bike. Once you experience the all-at-once loading, you'll be smiling.
  • INVENTED & MADE IN THE USA: Invented, engineered, designed, manufactured, assembled, and packaged in Delray Beach, Florida. The USPTO granted five patents for this speed loader by MAGSMITH (United States Patent and Trademark Office).
  • Top 3 Mistakes: 1. Not shifting the first round into the starting position–see Step 3 image below. 2. Not pushing fast enough on the downstroke, and faster as the spring gets tougher. 3. Not using compatible ammo or magazines.

Magsmith speed loader

The Only Instant 9mm Magazine Loader

The MAGSMITH 9mm Magazine Loader is the only speed loader that fills magazines in less than one second, eliminating the hassle of loading magazines one at a time.

For the past century, 9mm magazines have been loaded one at a time, with up to 20 pounds of thumb pressure per round. The MAGSMITH Mag Loader leverages the speed of a single quick two-handed downstroke. Say goodbye to thumb pain and hello to fully loaded magazines in no time.

Engineered Precision: The MAGSMITH pistol mag loader is engineered to provide precise magazine fit for all-at-once loading. Each 9mm magazine loader has an extremely precise magazine fit to navigate rounds backward (square end first) without interference at speeds exceeding 60 rounds per second for instant loading. The tolerances needed to accomplish this speed and accuracy are much tighter than they are for using the magazine. Hence, the reason one size can not fit all when navigating all of the rounds backward at these speeds.

This Quick Loader uses Durable Gross Motor Skills

Built tough, the MAGSMITH quick loader is made from 100% recyclable Nylon and Tritan plastics. Its features—from the vertical loader design to the ambidextrous pusher handle and snug-fitting magazine holder—convert magazine loading from a fine motor skill to a gross motor skill.

Made in the USA—MAGSMITH is all about American excellence. Engineering, design, manufacturing, assembly, and even packaging are proudly done in the USA. We're committed to American innovation and independence. With five years of development, we've invented a product that surpasses 100 years of magazine technology in speed, efficiency, and accuracy.

Best Practices for Easy & Fast Loading

First time? Oil the loader. If this is your first time using our loader, make it easier to learn the speed needed to make it work. Take a cotton swab and lightly oil (any oil) the loader in the three friction spots, as shown in the “Tips and Tricks” video on the MAGSMITH Amazon Store home page.
Start with an empty magazine. Always start over with an empty magazine. The loader is designed for single-cycle-loading only and will jam if there is any ammo in the mag when you start.
Ammo Starting Position After the ammo is in the tray, shift the ammo into the starting position as pictured in the “From the Brand” section above. Otherwise, the first round will get pinched and not load a single round. The “Tips and Tricks” video on the MAGSMITH Amazon Store home page also shows the ammo starting position.
Practice with 5 rounds. Get a feel for the speed needed to run this loader by practicing with 5 rounds. The faster you go, the easier it is. Go too slow, and it will jam because the rounds are entering the magazine faster than you are processing, which will cause a round to get caught behind an entering round.
Start fast, and finish FASTER! Pro tip: close your eyes the first few times until you get a feel for avoiding the tendency to slow down when getting to the end, where the spring resistance is increasing. It's about increasing speed, not force!
Break-In Period New loaders have a 100-round break-in period before running smoothly. However, do not run the same rounds through the loader more than three times because a few rounds can become shorter and cause the loader to jam.

Easy to Use

9mm magazine loader

Insert the Magazine

Insert the empty 9mm magazine into the bottom of the loader. This should be a very snug fit, so push it in fully.

Fill the Tray

Slide the sleeve open to drop rounds into the tray and arrange the rounds according to the numbered indents. Note, an 18th round can be added to the starting position shown in step 3.

Ammo Starting Position

Lightly push the rounds into the starting position using the pusher handle so the first round shifts down and into the step wall, as shown. This can be done with the sleeve open or closed. With the sleeve closed, stand the loader up vertically on a solid, non-slip surface.

Push Down Very FAST!!!

Hold the handle with both hands. Push the loader handle down as fast as you can. It's counterintuitive - you must increase speed on the way down, or it will fail. Don't worry you won't hurt the loader or your mag.

You can smile now, your magazine is fully loaded!

I was out of town and missed my return window, otherwise I would return this item. It is more difficult to use than described. Also, It requires using oil which I don’t like to do on ammo.

Broke my magazines using it. 9/10 will jam the bullets into your magazine.

I have read the negative reviews and kind of don't understand how they have had so much trouble and mine works like the video. My P365 mags are almost impossible to load without some type of loader. The magazine springs are beyond what my fingures can do. This unit works for me, as adverised. I load the first bullet in on the angle shown and then another 8 for my 10 round mags. If you don't put that first one in on the angle it won't work. Set it on the provided coaster, hold the slide firmly and push it down in one fast motion. Slam it in there, don't play around. So far it has loaded a number of mags without failure, once I started loading them as directed.

I'm sure their prototype does but mine scores a ZERO. I read and re-read the instructions and lubricated all the indicated parts. Not one cartridge would load.
