Box of sticks is filled with straight, unbroken stir sticks

Before I bought these, I read the reviews. I can see the mold issues, if they were in a plastic bag. Mine were not. But the other complaints.... Hey people! Bamboo is part of the grass family!!! These are cut and not sanded and sealed. Probably just tumbled to take most of the rough edges off. Do not roll them around your mouth and not expect to get a sliver or two. Don't expect a piece of grass fiber to be ultra clean. Common sense!!! Ok. Done ranting. Great product. Definitely will buy again!

These are by far the best quality wooden stir sticks. This is my second time purchasing this as it lasts for quite a while. Not super thin like others. You definitely need to apply some pressure for it to break. They hold up really well. I’d definitely recommend. Great for the price too.

After reading some of the negative reviews, I just had to add my 2 cents. This is my 4th order and I have been extremely satisfied with each order. Not sure what some people are doing, but out of over 3000 sticks, I have only experienced ZERO splinters. My orders have always arrived in a sturdy packing box, but on all fairness, packaging from Amazon should not be a negative mark against the product. My 4th order, the chemical smell mentioned in a review, have not found it yet, and last but not least. Why? Why? Don’t leave the stick in the coffe cup, it might poke your eye out. You remind me of the old joke, “Patient: Doc, every time I drink ice tea, my eye hurts, Doc: that’s easy, take the spoon out first!”

Yes, I know they're marketed as coffee stir sticks. Well, this isn't a review about that.I recently discovered the existence of "skinny craft sticks" and had a blast working with them. However, they had cost me $3 for a mere 75 sticks that were ~5.5" long. Now, that wood was thicker and sturdier than these bamboo stir sticks, but that cost difference was unreal. Also, thicker/sturdier also means harder to cut.So I went on a hunt for a more affordable option, discovered these, and broke into the box by crafting a magazine rack that I intend to mount in the bathroom next to the toilet. Yes, the individual sticks are not exactly weight-bearing, but once I glued a few of them together, they were as sturdy as a dowel rod of equivalent depth. I used wood glue to bind them and office clips to hold things in place while the glue dried.I now have a very light-weight and sturdy magazine rack, and I'm looking forward to exploring all the other things I could create with them. Now, the pros and cons list, and I'll try to make it coffee-stir relevant too:Pros: Affordable, lightweight, flexible, sturdy enough for stirring, almost no splinters, no odor, and easy to cut with scissors.Cons: Not all sticks were the promised 7.5" length, cutting small sections (think 1/4") is nearly impossible due to splitting, and sticks vary in width and how straight they are--though their flexibility allowed me to correct this with clamps.Anyway, my kids and I are enjoying them, and I wouldn't hesitate to order more for the same price when we clear through this box.
