I used this pump twice several weeks apart. The first time I used it worked well. The second time I used it the motor would not turn. I ordered the pump from Amazon and it was delivered on 10/9/2024. The first time I used it was on 11/23/2024 and it worked that time. I tried to use it again on 12/7/2024 and it did not work.

It helped changing oil by vacuuming a majority of the oil out of the engine. I moved the tube up and down the dipstick tube to keep it pumping the oil out. The self priming and the clear tubes made it very easy to monitor the extracting. I warmed the engine up so the oil would flow better. I did finish draining the rest of the oil, there was around 1 qt left in the oil pan. I will always finish draining the oil. Extracting a majority of the oil (6+QTs) it makes it worthwhile, not wrestling with an oil pan full of oil. It's well worth the money.

It’sa bit slow but does work well. Discharge fitting that screws into pump with an o ring on it leaked but hoping a new o ring will take care of that. But overall it does work.

I bought this for a quick oil change for a 2023 Acura RDX and it works great. I always change my oil every 5000 km and before the winter. The Pump sucks all of the oil from the car. Make sure to preheat the engine before you do the oil change. It takes me less than 5 minutes to get 5 liters of oil out. Not all cars are compatible with this kind of method for oil changes "It does not work for Subaru Forester".
