About this item

  • Precision machined tips with superior fitment for full contact fit and longer life
  • Performance-optimized S2 steel construction for extended life
  • Calibrated heat treating process for added durability
  • Manganese phosphate surface for advanced corrosion resistance
  • Optimal geometry for an ideal fit and improved holding power

Impactx is a line of impact-rated insert bits and fastening accessories built specifically for the demands of the professional contractor. Professionals require commercial duty bits and fastening accessories that can endure the force of high-volume screw driving applications with high torque impact drivers. Standard Screwdriving bits are brittle and fit Poorly into fasteners, and in applications with high torque impact drivers this losing Combo quickly leads to broken bits. Impactx hits back with improved Fitment and increased performance with high torque impact drivers. Precision machined (not forged) tips ensure full contact fit, while performance-optimized and heat-treated S2 steel provides more flex and more durability than standard, brittle bits.

I like the material, the price is medium but well, really good to do steel framing!

I liked that they were not that expensive and worked like they were supposed too.

This is great. Unfortunately, my Work isn’t buying them for me and they should be to me. These are of moderate pricing. They could be cheaper but they’re good quality and I’m buying them. I think they’re good.

The best bit I find for drywall and steel framing I wish they would last a bit longer especially in drywall guns where they take a beating

Do NOT buy the new xps makita bits, they are overpriced and cheap design, there last longer and have abetter fit

I bought these bits since my 20v DeWalt Impact Drill was chewing up every other bit I had. I was able to drive probably close to a couple hundred screws (and I'm talking 2.5-3 inchers) impact style (giggity) with just one bit before it finally failed. Fortunately, I had 49 more bits left. I think you'll be happy with this purchase.

If you’re a weekend warrior these will work for you. But as a handyman go to milwakee these bits are pretty weak the flutes will strip on most of them even using proper amount of pressure. I been using one milwakee but for 6 projects and still using the same one. Versus these bits where I’d go through 1 each 2 projects.

Best number 3 bits ever . I build things for a living and use number 3 buts all day long for 10 hours I go threw maybe 2 bits a week other bits maybe get 10 screws and the bits break ( DeWalt) and they are pricey ..these bits are well worth the money and will last a long time

I've used many bits and these are fantastic! They just bury the DeWalt bits. Can't stand those things! They don't cam out like the Bosch. The Bosch aren't bad...I used them for years and wouldn't turn my nose up to them. And the Milwaukee are decent enough. But the Makita Impactx bits rock. Don't hesitate to give them a try.

Not the fault of the vendor, but these bits are very, very, very short. You can really only use them with an extender of some sort. They're too small to work with a typical impact driver or electric drill.
