I got these primarily for auto use, mainly on rotors. I have bit sockets I normally use as I do not really like to impact torx fasteners, for for certain things like brake rotor retaining screws, a battery 1/4 impact drivers makes quick work of them. They are also not a critical or hard to replace fastener, so damage is not really a concern. I have never used the Impact XPS series before, but I have others in the Impactx series. These appear as they might be more corrosion resistant vs the other black oxide finish ones, but they do not state on the packaging what the finish is. Time will tell, but that is my first impression.I have always had good experiences with Makita bits for the torx sizes, so I stick with them. I do not use these professionally, so they are not used all day every day. However in my experience using them a few times per year, a 5 pack lasts many years.
