This company does not check if there product works before shipping sent me a makita Sawzall and the blade lock did not work I sent them a message and they didn't respond.DON'T BUY FROM THEM

I bought the slightly-used version on the Amazon web page to save some money. Still looks and works like brand-new. Very happy with it and will no doubt get many years of use out of it. Makita makes a quality product.

Makita is a great brand but buying this reconditioned/refurbished item was a mistake. The blade get stuck in the tool to where it a pain to remove after wiggling, shaking and all the above to finally get it out. Seller don't/won't/hasn't respond to numerous messages I've sent them. Don't know why? I believe in the makita brand but buyer beware buying reconditioned from certain places.

I honestly didn't expect a battery recip to be this good, but dang - I used this saw to fell and break down a 15"d. tree in the back corner and it was ready for more. It definitely weighs less than a standard corded Sawzall and seems to have every bit the same gusto.
