This is a monster ring light. It's very large and puts out a lot of light. The set is well made although the stand it's a little on the cheap side. Still, everything works well. It's an excellent value. The branding of Mane Tame "professional men's grooming" is odd for a light but who cares?

This ring light is pretty amazing. The light itself is very bright at its maximum brightness. The filter inserts are available if you want to adjust the warmth of the lighting. Since this is an 18” ring light it can give off a lot of light. This works well for photo shoots, recording videos, selfies, live videos and a lot more. The tripod isn’t too bad. It seems as if most of the efforts went into making the light though. Overall, this is a nice set. It is easy to assemble and use. You can even easily take everything down and pack it in the bag that’s included. This ring light and tripod are easy to travel with. Highly recommended

This light is "two color". That means that the LEDs produce one color temperature, about 5500 K, and there are two diffusers that come with the kit. One of the diffusers is translucent, so the native temperature is unchanged. The other set of diffusers is an orange-ish color. I can't see myself wanting that specific shade. Changing the diffusers isn't difficult, but it isn't easy either. The point is, for practical purposes, think of this light as 5500 K with adjustable brightness. I work with all kinds of lights, but daylight temperature is the one I use most often, so this is not a problem for me.The bag/cover is like a lightly padded, fat pizza box. That's better than the bags that came with my other ring lights. The other ones have no padding and therefore no rigidity. The included stand is acceptable. I have better, and I have worse. The stand has rounded ends on the feet. Most other stands have flat ends, which I find a tiny bit less stable, and the form doesn't fit the function. Rounded ends are nice. Fully extended, the stand can make the top of the light touch an 8' ceiling. There is a short metal extender that will add about 9" more. Full extension require the legs to be in closer. If you don't have to go that high, you should keep the legs spread farther apart for better stability. Also included, is a small ball head, which attaches to a cold shoe insert, which inserts into a cold shoe on the light. A cell phone holder screws into the ball head and supports a cell phone for taking photographs or videos through the ring. The cell phone setup isn't height adjustable, so the phone sits at about the 1/3 mark instead of closer to the center of the ring. This position allows a little more light from above. I haven't noticed a significant difference, so this is not a problem.Like every other ring light I have, this light can be turned up enough so that it is uncomfortable to look at directly. That's a good thing, because while you don't have to turn it up that high, it's nice that it can should you need it. On the other end, it can be turned down to a soft glow.If 5500 K (daylight) is the color you use frequently, this is a nice kit to have handy to use on the spot or take on the road.
