Kinda pricey for what it is but….its absolutely necessary to work on your Manitou forks. Just bit the bullet an buy it you will be glad you did.

If you have a Manitou Mattoc, you won't be able to do an air spring service without the thin walled socket or the cut cassette tool. Sure, you could always make them, but there's always a risk of leaving burrs on the bits you cut and ending up scratching the air shaft. These tools work spot on for doing your service on your Mattoc. Also comes in handy for the Mezzer (as it uses same tool to remove air spring)

These tools seem not to be cheap. Once you use them and change the suspension of your Manitou fork, you realize how valuable they are, You don't have to buy two forks. Just open the fork with the tools and adjust it at your like.I myself have two bikes with Manitou Mattoc forks. I adjusted one from 140 to 150mm. And the second one from 150 into 160mm. The ride of both improved completely, like buying a new bike. And if I wasn't satisfied with the change, I always could set them to the original suspension. I have to admit I am a fan of Mattoc forks.

Makes fork service easy, but kind of pricey for what you are getting.

You might have the Park cassette tool, but is it slotted? Is your 8mm socket thin-walled enough? Is your 24mm socket chamferless? I answered No to all 3, so I bought this tool kit.
