I was hoping for a much better sound for the chime. Sounds rather tinny. It's pretty but the round piece of wood around the bezel has 4 cuts, not one total round piece. For $100 I expected more. I am waiting to see if it chimes 9 times at 9pm. NOPE! NO MUSIC, NO CHIMES FOR THE HOUR! And a booklet explaining everything would have been REALLY appropriate! I did put in new batteries. It chimes and played the tune then. Even on the video at 10:15 it chimed 8 times. What a total disappointment! Go to a real clock store if you want a bang for your buck. It's pretty and that's it. Save your money!

I redid my bathroom and have a Victorian vanity. My old wall clock did not fit anymore, but I had a shelf and really need to know the time when I am getting ready so I won't be late. This clock is lovely and it is so nice to see the time.
