I bought these because I was sick and tired of having to pump up my front tires every single time I went to use the mower. I saw these and thought how wonderful it would be just to get on the mower and go. That’s the good part. The bad part is these ride extremely rough. It is 2-3 times more bumpier than air inflated tires. My neck literally hurt after cutting the lawn with these. If you want convenience go with these, if you want a smooth ride stick with air inflated tires.

I finally became aggravated with my front tires never being fully inflated or completely off the rim. I looked at inner tubes and locally they were $25 or more a piece. These just made a lot more sense financially and practically. I ordered the bearings to go with these but they are still floating around somewhere out there in The ether, so I reused the original bearings by cleaning them out and repacking them with grease and they fit and work just great. I had to use the thick spacers to fit this to my Kubota.A couple of things about the difference is I immediately noticed:1. Ouch!! I'm looking for a new seat cushion now. The ride is substantially rougher than inflated tires. For me it's not a huge factor as I only use it every couple of weeks for a few hours, but if I were riding this thing professionally day in and day out, I believe I would rather have the original inflated tires.2. Handling is more precise it seems and turns are a little bit faster and easier, but this is probably because I never had the other tires inflated like they should have been in the first place.3. Downhill, which we all know is a No-No, is a little more dicey and more difficult to control with the slick hard front tires.4. The general appearance and overall cut off my grass was much improved!

First off, I mow A LOT! Weekly I mow about 2.5 acres on my Zero Turn, and the OEM front wheels/tires/axles just can't handle the work load. The original are over $100 each, and even with the thick rubber, they go flat a LOT. So, while looking for another new one I found these replacements on Amazon. These are Non-Flat tires, which means they Do Not Go Flat! Huge Time Saver. They come with addition bushings and spacers to help make them fit your model. They are Easy to install. And to be totally honest, I find my mowing to be more even then with the OEM (original made) products. And at less than HALF the price they are worth every penny.I wish I had found these 3-4 years ago!

First the bad: if you have a bad back, this is going to make the ride so much worse on uneven terrainNow the good: These turn better than the stock ever did and never lose air. I can even take the turns a little quicker without losing the evenness of the cutDefinitely recommend, but not for those with bad backs because the ride is rough on uneven terrain

I brought these looking for good quality replacement deck wheels on our JD1600.The rims seem to be constructed of the same gage steel as JD and will fit without any modifications but they only supply light duty ball bearings rather than the pair of needle bearings supplied with JD replacements. It appears that i can still put the new JD needle bearings in these axle tubes and paint them yellow and maintain a savings but it does require extra time and skills to do the work.

MARASTAR 00232 Universal Fit Flat Free 11x4.00-5 Lawnmower Tire Assembly, Black replaced the original Toro front caster wheels (Toro part #130-0736 Caster Wheel ASM) on the Toro Timecutter 4225 (model #74721). The first picture shows the fit of the original Toro caster wheel. The second picture provides a side by side comparison showing the flat free caster wheel has a slightly larger diameter. However, you can see in the third picture that the new caster wheel still fits very well and does not scuff the caster fork.A few installation tips:- I found the preinstalled 3/4" Sintered iron bushings were the correct size. There was no need to use the included 5/8" Sintered iron bushings.- After removing the old Toro caster wheel, extract the spanner bushing and reinstall it on the new flat free casters. This will ensure the original caster wheel screw has a good fit, and it will come in handy for adding spacers.- The flat free tires are slightly more narrow than the originals so you'll need to use some of the included spacers. I found using the included 1/2" spacer, 1/4" spacer, and both washers made for a good fit.I've done a couple hours of mowing with the new flat free tires and they are performing exactly as expected - with no more flats!

So tired of front flats on Husqvarna zero turn mower on 4 acres of yards. These arrived early. Well packed. Both zerk fittings were loose. I removed the installed ones and replaced them with better quality 1/4x28 angle fittings with the threads teflon tape wrapped. The zerk fitting holes in the hub are in very thin metal thus no real depth for more than one thread. The holes appeared almost as if untapped with the zerks self-threaded in the thin metal (-1 Star). New ones seem to hold and are tighter fitting. Tighten once only as they do self-thread when you put them in.Tires seem to be good quality as are the nylon spacers. Bushings installed are 3/4 ID but 5/8 ID are included if you need to change. TIme will tell about durability.Update on ride quality: I have cut 2 separate yards (~ 4 acres total) twice since installing these tires. These are yards located on rural properties and have evolved to their present condition over many years of nothing more than routine cutting of the grass. My experience so far is that these tires do provide a slightly rougher ride when they run over a small obstacle (protruding root top, hummock in surface, etc). however the roughness is by no means troubling, It is one of those things you will notice - similar to when you increase tire pressure. Otherwise, no change. For our use and our yard conditions we are very satisfied so far. Old yards are chock full of decades of buried broken glass, nails, metal shards, bottle caps, etc. Front tire cuts and flats on our zero turns was a problem we continually fought. So far-so good. We don't see very much impact damage to the tire surfaces as we did with the softer pneumatic tires. But again, time will be the judge.
