Suffice to say we’ve gone through about literally 10 different marble runs these last couple years. We recently purchased this one for Xmas for our soon to be 6yr old boy. The price point it was at I just couldn’t pass up. Obviously he was over the moon upon opening it, but that wasn’t the only positive thing about this particular marble run! We quickly took to cleaning off the dining room table and got set up. I think the very first build in the manual took us only an hour and it’s so so COOL! This isn’t your ordinary run of the mill marble runs. My son LOVED all the intricate “new style” pieces to put together and honestly it made such a better more supportive structure than the countless other marble runs we’ve tried. It has soooooo many projects for us to build! We love it!

I bought this for my 14 and 12 year old sons and they love it. The creativity you can have with so many pieces it awesome! They race and just sit and built for awhile.

I really like how entertaining this set is. Started off the bat with the larger design on page 40, after a few tweaks and changing out a few tubes that I had installed incorrectly (be mindful of the black rail tower pieces that can be pass through or ball return and that these are installed in the correct place). It worked great after straightening out a couple leaning towers. I think it's a fantastic STEM item for my 4 yo. He typically goes for remote control toys but I opted to give this a shot after watching some marble run Youtube videos. He plays with this quite a bit more and is more engaged. He loves placing multiple marbles into the track at once. This set from Marble Genius seems to be a quality set so far and I appreciate the thought that went into the designs as well as the large instruction manual. There is also an app you can download but I haven't ventured into it yet.I don't work for this company or receive anything to write this review. I just appreciate a solid, non-electric educational toy, it's a nice change of pace.

The clear pieces are a lot more fragile than the store bought set I got my son a couple years ago, however it I'd still worth evey penny. Just be sure when buying it that you are aware some younger kids will break this very easily. The green pieces crack and break very easily.

I really enjoyed this set for my son. He can put it together in many different ways, the instructions are a little challenging for a 12 year old, but in all is a great marble run set.

The Marble Genius rails set is a very interesting concept to say the least, it's like the quercetti skyrail merged into the normal stacking type of marble runs. It is cool that the rails let you see all the action from all possible angles and that it is infinitely customisable. However, it does come with a lot of disadvantages. Firstly, the assembling process is atrocious. There is no reason that it takes 5 separate pieces to make one rail piece when I can just use one normal marble run piece from another Marble Genius marble run set (Sorry it's hard to explain, I tried my best). It is also the most time consuming marble run to build AND to disassemble. Secondly, the set comes with a full booklet that has no mention how to fully assemble a rail piece and the swing. It's like many things are self trial and error, especially when I figured out that you can put two rail pieces together and make a super long rail (this is a super cool design, but a bummer that it isn't mentioned on the booklet). Finally, this set is super filmsy and comes with terrible bases. In my opinion, it should come with the large bases that Marble Genius provides with the super/extreme set. Overall, I like this marble run but I think there are a lot of things to re-evaluate to make the product better.
